Jennifer Rivera

“I spent over 20 years as a television news reporter, anchor, and producer, and I understand the content that television news programs seek. At NMG, we use our experience and expertise to deliver that content in a way that’s both newsworthy and appealing for viewers. I particularly enjoy working with our clients on their product messaging to ensure that we always provide effective, high-end interviews.”

– Jennifer Rivera, President

As co-founder of News Media Group, Jennifer applies over 20 years of experience as a TV news reporter and anchor to help attract the attention of both television and radio stations nationwide for the benefit of her clients.

Jennifer graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish. Her career in television began in Tupelo, Mississippi, the birthplace of Elvis Presley, where she served two years as a bureau reporter for WCBI and another two years as the weekend anchor for WTVA.

In late 2004, Jennifer moved back to her hometown of West Palm Beach, Florida, where she worked briefly as a reporter for WPBF before being recruited as an anchor by WPTV — the market’s number one station. Jennifer’s career as a reporter allowed her to meet with and tell the stories of so many fascinating people from all walks of life, but her all-time favorite assignment placed her in the passenger seat of a Russian Yak-54 as the stunt pilot performed a series of rolls and dives.

Jennifer co-founded News Media Group in 2009 and currently serves as the NMG’s President. When she’s not working, Jennifer stays busy with her two very active boys and her husband, Rey. Also, as something of a thrill-seeker, Jennifer loves visiting amusement parks around the country, searching for the tallest, fastest roller coasters.

Jennifer also enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures. She’s visited Europe, Costa Rica, and many Caribbean islands, including her favorites, Puerto Rico and St. Thomas.
