The new school year is almost upon us! And we all want to make smart purchasing decisions, especially during inflationary times. Here are 3 tips to keep in mind as you put together your back to school shopping list.
- When shopping for school supplies, don’t settle for second-best options. For example, if you buy cheap pens, they likely will not write as well and you’ll tend to lose them quickly or leave them on your desk at home.
- Don’t buy something just because it’s on sale. Many times stores put things out in order to make room for new items coming in later in the season (especially around back-to-school time). It might have been the hot item last year but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be this year!
- When in doubt, do without. If you don’t need or want an item, then there probably isn’t any reason why you should get it at all!
